SawDust Toilets work best and clean-up best)
IF there is NO Liquid…
So i came up with the "DUAL System"... (think about it;
many bathrooms have a flush toilet and a bidet next to it...
so this "hop from one to the other" is not so uncommon...)
Basically you build a "Two Seater SawDust Toilet"...
let's call the first one "NO# ONE"
and the second one "NO# TWO"...
you go "No# one" in the first SawDust Toilet...(Liquids Only)
then hop over to "No# two" and go "No# two"... NOW hop back over to "No# one"
(cover no# 2 with sawdust) and here on the "No# One sawdust toilet (liquids only)"
You have a >>Hand Held BEDIT Sprayer<< clean off and pat dry with a reusable cloth...
which you can wash and use again...(you can have a stack of a 100 and never run low)...
So if you are into The SawDust Toilet and do not mind the composting labor…
you simply deal with two buckets and you never have to buy TP again... now i understand many people feel TP is the bees knees... and I certainly am not going to "preach" to anyone…
But consider the facts (google the cons of TP)
What we are doing by using a Saw Dust Toilet is going
VERY GREEN...
Why not remove the TP and close the industrial loop!

I would like to have someone to share experiments with the peasants of my village in Petit-Goave, Haiti so that the whole village could start using that method.
Thank you for your interest!

We started on to about a month ago. We started the first bucket with shredded white paper which filled up quickly! Then we switched to Peat Moss which was nice, absorbed the odors, but we finally switched to sawdust and love it. Fortunately our source is free, abundant and works better then PM. The PM had a bit of problems controlling the odor when the bucket was almost full. But surely a pleasant color (black/dark brown) and odor (organic). SD seems more absorbent and has a "sponge" effect that is when it comes to liquid. Are you still using the shavings or courser Saw dust? Are you still composting?
